Marco Ramasso, born in Turin in 1964, is a contemporary painter who paints with the technical skill of a Flemish master.
He's skilled in representing the human figure and landscapes, devotes his main artistic production to the representation of animals. The beauty and pride of his subjects -from brown bears to mountain goats, foxes in the snow and solitary wolves - fascinate intensely. His painting meticulous caresses the mantle of felines or bird feathers. His paintings are amazingly yield impeccable details obtained with a fine oil painting, prepared in the studio with natural pigments and binders.
The exhibition, entitled Beyond the silence, is staged at the Palazzo delle Feste Bardonecchia from 6 December 2014 to 25 January 2015.
Curated by Elizabeth Tolosano provides thirty paintings of medium and large. Some canvases were painted specifically for the exhibition of Bardonecchia.
On the same dates, a picture of Marco Ramasso will be exposed to the Belvedere Jaffreau, Fregiusia Location, Bardonecchia, in a space that will showcase the exhibition at Palazzo delle Feste (www.belvedere-jafferau.it/).
The title is inspired painting Beyond the Silence (2014), a landscape that stretches as far as the eye. The viewer has the point of view of those who climbed Mount Tabor sees the mountains ahead furrowed by Valle Stretta.
For the artist Besides the silence is "the quiet, reflection, trying to see the world with the heart and mind, not only with the eyes. Means to appreciate the beauty of nature -Pets, landscapes and atmosfere- grasp and deep ties to transfer them on canvas".

The exhibition, organized with the support of Regione Piemonte and Fondazione CRT is accompanied by a catalog published by the Società Editrice Allemandi & C. with texts by Roberto Borgis, Antonella Paris, Angelo Mistrangelo, Elizabeth Tolosano.
Monday 29 December 2014 at 06pm at the Palazzo delle Feste Bardonecchia, in the exhibition "Marco Ramasso. Beyond the Silence" will be held the meeting "Art and Nature" with speeches of Mayor Roberto Borgis, artist Marco Ramasso and curator Elizabeth Tolosano.
Followed by a reception offered by the Pastry Ugetti (on the occasion of the 60 years in business) and the Bar-Restaurant Belvedere Jafferau (that during the period of the exhibition presents a showcase of the exhibition at Palazzo delle Feste with the exhibition of a painting by Marco Ramasso ).
