Statues of Saint Teresa and Saint Christine
Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista
The two magnificent marble sculptures by Pierre Legros are located in the right transept inside the chapel of the Crucified Christ. They were made in the early XVIII century for the facade of the church of Santa Cristina and then moved to the cathedral in the Napoleonic period, when the church of piazza San Carlo became the seat of the Stock Exchange building.
