Ciborium
One of the masterpieces of the the great sculptor and architect from Tuscany. It is built of four columns in porphyry and topped by a cover of spirals and pinnacles. Stylistically, it is close to french sculpture at the time, with the notable tendency towards the vertical of the gothic style. In the angles are figures depicting the Evangelists.
