At the corners of the ceiling of the Sala Capitolare, Tiepolo produced a series of canvases with groups of Virtues. In this case, the three theological Virtues are characterised by the usual attributes: Faith with the cross and the chalice, Hope in green with the anchor and Charity in red accompanied by two cherubs.
