The two awesome large paintings (telero) of the ground room show two women in solitude surrounded by a very modern landscape at twilight. Traditionally identified as Mary Magdalene and Maria Egiziaca, they actually portray the same woman, Mary, musing on the past and future events, to whom the room is consecrated.
