It was located on the roof of the large great hall to indicate the hunting destination of the Stupinigi residence. Its profile was perfectly aligned with the main boulevard and well visible to anyone entering the residence. In 1992 it was replaced with a duplicate for preservation purposes and Ladatte’s original was located in the vestibule opposite the ticket office.
