The Polish artist Anna Skibska loves to tell the metamorphosis of forms using techniques masterfully vetraie.
Anna Skibska using glass as a medium to carry the occult that explores the theme dellatrasparenza, as research for the determination of the light, or rather the brightness. Stitching the disembodied mass of the glass with the same skill of the sculptor, who takes away rather than add, the artist comes to realize subtle "plots" of glass, real "geometric webs", on which the light is deposited as crystallized ago frost on winter mornings , revealing the Euclidean nature of the crystals of water ice .
Using a small flashlight "stretching" of the glass rods to create thin strands of transparent glass , bent and fused together to form ethereal sculptures from the perfect balance. The result are "clusters of clouds" suspended in a space that becomes the container and contents of the representation. A game between the visible and invisible essence - which leads to the absence of gravity and levity of his compositions.
