DESCRIZIONE:
The wide square (111 x 360 m) was designed by Giuseppe Frizzi in 1825 to connect the baroque city and the Borgo Po district across the river. The architect solved the problem of the approximately 7m drop between the square and the river with a sequence of colonnades. From here you can get a nice view of the Gran Madre di Dio and the Turin hill.
