This house, Cannaregio 5182, as the plaque on the facade informs, was the home of Tiziano from 1530 to 1576 when he died. The house has numerous floors with a garden and two salons, one with a stone fireplace and the other with decorated walls and frescoes representing naturalistic scenes. The house used to have a beautiful panoramic view of the lagoon, the Murano island and the Cadore mountains, where the artist was born.
