On Appia Pignatelli, a few hundred meters from the Basilica of San Sebastiano and the Tomb of Cecilia Metella, immersed in the verdant beauty of the park of the Caffarella, stands this tiny church, adapted in the Tenth Century from a temple, probably built in the Second Century for Herod Atticus on his property. The hall has frescoes signed by the painter Bonizzo in 1011, restored in the 1600s.
