DESCRIZIONE:
Set up inside the Gallery of Beaumont Palace, was opened to the public in 1837 at the behest of Charles Albert to accommodate all the old weapons possessed by several plants, particularly those from the arsenals of Turin and Genoa, as well as those of Universities and private collections of the rulers.
In that same year, King Charles Albert bought the important collection of arms of Milanese designer Alexander Sanquirico.
The collection was increased over time with further acquisitions, including weapons and armor of the accounts of the Martinengo Factory and the donation of oriental weapons belonged to Charles Vidua Casale.
Since 2005, more than 4,000 pieces are exhibited according to the specification historic century.
