DESCRIZIONE:
Dating back to the I century AC, the Porta Principalis Sinistra was one of the gates to the city in the still visible surrounding wall. Flanked by two 30m-high polygonal towers, it is opened by two sets of windows and four openings. In the square, the focus of the Roman Augusta Taurinorum, duplicates of Roman statues of Julius Caesar and Augustus were located in fascist age, in between which you can see the remains of a Roman street.
