The painting, in the chapel to the right of the high chapel, portrays Crisogono, a Roman soldier and then bishop of Aquileia martyred under Diocletian. The saint is featured as a knight advancing on a horse and its elegant pose perfectly shows the late-Gothic elements typical of the painter’s training.
