First Floor Rooms
Castello
- Location: First Floor Rooms
- Date: XVI secolo
The first floor rooms of the palace are unique throughout the city in that they present a decorative array in a strictly Tuscan-Roman style. The Grimani family actually called upon the main artists working in Central Italy at the time, such as Salviati, Giovanni Da Udine and Federico Zuccari, to decorate the rooms, and from 1530 they worked on the various rooms using stucco work and frescoes inspired by classical mythology.
