This room is accessed via the cloister of the monastery run by the fathers of the Servite Order. It is home to a fascinating and almost unique collection of portraits of all of the popes throughout history, starting with Saint Peter and including the Antipopes. The monastery also provides access to the royal apartments, where the Savoy family stayed during trips to the basilica.
