This altar was made to a design by Amedeo di Castellamonte between 1664 and 1665 by Tommaso Carlone, whose tomb is found in the counter-façade. It is decorated with sculptures, the coat of arms of Christine Marie of France and a dedication from her to Saint Francis of Paola. It contains an altarpiece depicting Francis Hyacinth and Charles Emmanuel in the presence of Saint Francis of Paola being taken to glory by Charles-Claude Dauphin (1664).
