Located in the lefthand transept of the church, the chapel is characterized by a wealth of materials and decor that makes it a baroque masterpiece. It was designed by the jesuit architect Andrea Pozzo around the altar which holds the remains of the Saint in a golden bronze urn with depictions of the Saint himself and the sainted apostles of Jesus Christ, a work by Alessandro Algardi. The large altarpiece is also by Pozzo, while the marble sculptures were carried out by Angelo de Rossi, Jean Baptiste Theodon, Bernardinio Cametti and Pierre Legros.
