Also known as the Boxer of the Quirinal, because it was found on the roman hill in 1885, it is a precious bronze sculpture from the late-hellenistic age attributed to the famed Lisippo and probably came from the Hot Springs of Constantine.
The man, naked and bearded, is still wearing his gloves, the so-called cesti, made of three strips of leather bound by metal studs.
