The association Arte e Design Venezia presents the Wonderland exhibition at the S. Eufemia Gallery.
Wonderland celebrates the fantastic in all its forms, unites the alternatives of our existence, perpetuates parallel worlds created by each artist, focuses on the detail and beauty of being as if we were using a macro lens.
Through the works, the artists present different versions of themselves and the world. In fact, the surroundings are only a matter of perspective and everything is set to change.
Stephen King, in his book "It" writes "You could start from a path that leads nowhere more fantastic than from your house steps to the sidewalk, and from there I could go ... well, anywhere".
The fantastic is not a subversion, it is a way of understanding existence and learning to merge into the vast perplexity about whether there is anything to be experienced while experiencing it.
Wonderland could be understood as a fantastic field of interpretation, a layered system of sensations, a domain of creation where everything becomes meaningful and fabulous in its particularity.

GIUSEPPE PRINETTI
Giuseppe Prinetti lives and works in Bologna, Milan and London, he is 26 years old and he tells us "I started developing my creative side since I was in school, in the Art homework I applied myself to the utmost to do the job diligently, always adding personal notes to what was requested by the professors.
After school I enrolled at the University of London in the Faculty of Economics but the drive towards the creative world was too strong so I abandoned it to go back to dance with art ".
He attended a year at the NABA academy (Milan) but then continued "alone" following his deep feeling of him. He started with acrylics, then worked with ceramics and mixed techniques of which the works exhibited here are part of the research: Dream Catcher.
He emphasizes "when I make art I am inspired by the movement and energy that a work contains".
In the future Prinetti plans to develop his sculptural creativity more and more, experimenting with different materials and consolidating the work done.

ALEXANDRE LUIZ SEGRÉGIO
Visionary and realist Brazilian artist, through his works he promotes a dialogue and the relationship that exists between man and nature, exploring strength, magic and beauty. In an extremely immediate and superficial world, he invites us to "immerse ourselves" in the details in depth to "save" and "reconnect" with nature and its very essence. These reflections generate an "awakening" of the conscience of each one in the duty of conserving the planet. The artist dedicates himself to carefully portraying greatness, revealing his love for nature. In his quest to improve his work even further, he conducts field research. He has a habit of traveling to places where there are forests and where nature is wild in search of inspiration.
The strength, charm and magic of nature present in his paintings connect us to an archetypal universe and towards unity. The magic that surrounds the forests reveals the secrets of a sacred kingdom, which for the moment is consciously recognized by a small number of people, who struggle to preserve life of this magnitude, essential for the balance of the planet and for every being who inhabits it.
The artist currently resides in Sao Paulo in Brazil.

U-KU
U-ku was born in 1989 in Japan.
Artist activities started in 2016 and currently she mainly works as a watercolor artist for solo exhibitions.
She moved to the United States when she was in elementary school and had a hard time getting used to the new environment, “It was very painful for me not to understand what I thought and felt”. But when she returned to Japan, she noticed not only linguistic and cultural differences, but even in Japan people couldn’t understand each other if the environment in which they were born and raised was different. She then thought that there must be many people other than her who suffer from “not being understood by others”. With that in mind, She continued to make artworks to save herself, and moreover, help people in the same situation.

The artist was part of the coordinating body of the Biennale Foundation in São Paulo, and led some workshops at Sesc units in the great city center of São Paulo and on the coast of the same city.
He worked as an artist and as an educator in some social projects and in cultural institutions of the municipal education network of São Bernardo do Campo. There, he had the opportunity to work with children, young adults and the elderly; this reflected in his art the theme of everyday-life transformation.
Cleber currently lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.

SARAH ALESSIO
Sarah Alessio becomes part of the “Wonderland” exhibition with six of her works taken from the research “The Immense”. When she is asked about the profound meaning of her artistic project, she explains to us: "The Immense takes shape in a moment of creative block and my curiosity to discover MACRO photography". The project is expressed through abstract imagery where the details of the flowers fade. Whoever looks at them is free to interpret, to dream, to fantasize. In front of her subjects, the imagination is free. “My photos are generated by a state-of-the-art digital camera combined with a lens that dates back to the seventies. I don't retouch photos in post production, I love the result of the old lens. From this strong technological contrast comes the incredible effect, it is shown that the new does not always give better results. Whoever photographs is capable of grasping the particular ”.
