Some words about the origin and the authors of images.
In all the territories declared war zone was absolutely forbidden to perform the photographs. The Photographic Archive Historical Foundation's Civic Museums of Venice, was largely passed in 2000 at the Palazzo Fortuny museum that since the early years of its opening has always been dedicated
where to Photography and other precious funds are already deposited photographers. The photographic archive is an impressive corpus of negative and positive over the years since the establishment of the collections of Teodoro Correr was sedimented through donations and purchases.
But it must be remembered that important collections of historical photographs are still preserved in the photo-graph of the Correr Museum, Doge's Palace and the Galleria d'Arte Moderna Ca 'Pesaro. Many nuclei photos of these funds are now visible and available on line at the site of the Foundation of the Civic Museums of Venice, thanks to the long campaign of cataloging.
The show is produced and organized by Civita Tre Venezie and will be accompanied by a catalog of Marsilio Publishers, edited by Claudio Franzini with essays by Cesare De Michelis, Camillo Tonini and Claudio Franzini.
