Salon Suisse: The next 100 Years – Scenarios for an Alpine City State

The Salon Suisse is the project that supports the Swiss Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. Today, in its third edition, the Salon Suisse, which is configured as a series of conferences and events, provides a platform for discussion on contemporary architecture, all in a relaxed environment. The Salon Suisse 2014 edited by Hiromi Hosoya and Markus Schaefer, architects and planners who work mainly in Zurich, the founders of the study Hosoya Schaefer Architects, who designed an ambitious program of events focused on questions related to urban development in Switzerland and the growing push towards global urbanization.
