It opens Sunday, July 20th, 2014 at 18.30 at the gallery Françoise Calcagno Art Studio in Venice, Campo del Ghetto Nuovo, the exhibition titled REMEMBER ME souvenir of the author.
It is not simply a collective, but an experiment in sharing permanent exhibition space by 16 artists that perform in this way a true art showroom at the same temporary self. The works on display are of small or medium size and offer a rich and interesting insight into the current artistic production.
All the artists involved, of various nationalities, have some connection with Venice, and perhaps this is the thread that unites them and makes sense of wanting to be in this together. Elvezia Allari adhere to the initiative, Silvia Battisti, Françoise Calcagno, Cristina Cortese, Hélène Galante, Daniela Levera, Cate Maggia, Alix Manchet, Concetta Nasone, Silvia Paladini, Gabriele Perissinotto Agustina Ponce, Luigi Rifani, Katia Scotti, Rossana Stiassi, Paola Volpato.
Elvezia Allari create outfits, jewelry and works of man-made textile design, favoring an imaginary kind surprising objects and synthetic.
The theme of time is common in the works of Silvia Battisti on the assumption that "to each his own time," gives us a vision through segments held together by a wire.
