Reflective Landscape identifies and presents to the public portraits of farmers who interpreted their work as an occasion for enriching their land and improving the landscape. We offered 8 photographers the chance to interprete some selected Venetian farmers and thelandscapes they positively modify through their work.
The encounter among photographers, the subjects to be portrayed and the background gave us the idea of a double shooting, with two diametrically opposed pictures like in a reflex. The producer becomes indeed the visual junction of the environment and landscape where he works. This curious modality of taking a portrait, stimulated by the out-fitting in the cloister intercolumn at Marcianum, allowed an inedited photographic glimpse.
