From July 2 to August 2, Caffè Florian in Venice is hosting an exhibition of Mario Del Do, winner of the "Photograph Florence and come to Venice", the contest organized by Florian in Florence to give the opportunity to exhibit their talent of being able to shots in the local historian of piazza San Marco.

After a careful examination of the works of about two hundred photographers received in recent months, the jury decided to proclaim the winner of the contest Mario Del Do "for the technical quality and originality of the photo project presented." The committee, chaired by Gianni Berengo Gardin, one of the most important photographers at the international level, was composed of experts in the field of photographic representation: Stephen Stipitivich (artistic director Cafe Florian), Andrea Mi (art director Stream Fest, lecturer European Institute of Design ), Luca Bracali (photographer), Simone Donati (photographic collective "Terra Project Photographers"), Marco Tortato Yorick (Photographer), Mr. Leonardo Bieber (President of the Fifth Council Committee of the City of Florence).
The Caffè Florian in Venice for many years has a cultural program designed to make the "historic cafes" places of artistic and cultural promotion. "There is a feeling among the consolidated Florian and the most popular of the arts, photography" - says Marco Paolini, CEO of Cafe Florian - "just think of the two photographic books by Gianni Berengo Gardin. Mario Del Do was born in Mirano (Venice) in April 1964. Married, employee, resides in Spinea (VE). Begins to approach the world of photography at the age of five years and with the passage of time is involved in several photography courses and exposes some group exhibitions. He is a member of the association photographic "Marco Polo".
