The renewed Boiler Group is pleased to present its third group exhibition at the Françoise Calcagno Art Studio.
It's an experiment in sharing permanent exhibition space, by 16 artists that perform in this way a real showroom of contemporary art. The exhibited works are of small or medium size and offer a rich and interesting insight into the current artistic production.
All the artists involved, of various nationalities, have some link with Venice, and perhaps this is the thread that unites them.
On this occasion will be exhibited new works by artists of the Boiler Group.
Elvezia Allari creates outfits, jewelry and works of textile design artificial. His materials of choice are the silicone polymers hot, cooked the wire, paper, used in an unusual way. On this occasion exhibits a dress lamp wire, crystals, flowers and paper.
Silvia Battisti creates works of smaller size where the intensity of the color, the writing of the signs, the metal lines comprise balances spatial and formal at times dramatic.
Françoise Calcagno in this new exhibition features new works using archival photos of Venice, incorporating them into small paintings where photography old joins the abstract painting, reviving memories and atmospheres without a proper timing.
Cristina Cortese presented here studies of colored bodies on paper; colors and papers always take up much space in the artist's research.
The paintings of Mario Esposito hit for the variance and the brilliance of shapes and colors, creating a microcosm in which it expresses the artist's sensibility, which is in the 'original small format your media.
The latest work of Hélène Galante show the use of gold leaf on fragments of plaster falling recovered, to evoke memories in the viewer.
The photographs of Ivana Gauls are cleverly reworked and transformed into modern art. Personal interpretations and educated at the same time, sometimes playful, highly visual and allegorical rich in quotations.
Daniela Levera has deepened his studies in Faenza and from 2014 worked the clay in his laboratory staff of Venice, revealing secrets and possibilities of this wonderful material.
Cate Maggia has come the development of a personal technique based on the use of collage, which uses clothing and accessories that have marked its history. His works are characterized by the great complexity of the language used, a sort of visual alphabet with which expresses their emotions.
Alix Manchet works matrix plexiglass with drypoint, pyrography, pastas, acting on his recordings every time in a different way in the process of printing and making them unique, real "monotypes".
The B'estes Concetta Naso, created in collaboration with Eugenia Pinna, are objects sculpture representing three animals typical of the Sardinian fauna. Entirely handmade weaving the wool on a wooden pressed.
Gabriel Perissinotto was born in San Dona di Piave, where he lives and works. Here presents photographic images developed, realized on an aluminum base.
"Randomness" is the key word that the artist Augustina Ponce uses to describe his works, which are born and mature through the use of recycled materials and color. His work is a come and go without direction, is reason and irrationality, is calm and bewilderment with a bit of gambling.
In this exhibition Luigi Rifani exhibits works from the series "Objects". Pairings "improbable" between photographs and objects give a poor result rigorous formal and disturbing highly effective surprising and engaging.
The artist Katia Scotti presents works in charcoal on paper framed which reinterprets the visionary landscapes of his oil paintings.
Paola Volpato multimedia artist, working on installations, video, art books. Here presents the work of paper mixed media of Verdi's series.
