"Close-Up", a retrospective of the works of Fabrizio Campanella, recalls how the new languages ??in contemporary art are often mindful of the "semantic codes of the historical avant-garde", writes the curator Gianluca Marziani, metabolized by time and the sensitivity of each artist .
Gianluca Marziani writes: "Shaping the archetype seems to me the right key to connect the works of Campanella. Each painting has, in fact, a historical matrix (....). The archetype malleable implies, in fact, a constant walk on the boundary between figure and abstracts. Campanella is telling us that there is no pure abstraction , impossible abstracted from someone / something without taking along the tracks, the genetic codes and the memories it holds any existing form with him".
The retrospective of the works of Campanella shows over twenty years of research, in which his painting has shown strength and curiosity, shaping its technological potential, the innate defilements, the endogenous regeneration.
