Friday 12 September at 07 pm opens the exhibition spaces The Necessity of the Case of the artists Elio Rosolino Cassarà and Jeffrey Isaac at Ca' Zanardi.
The exhibition, curated by Andrea Chinellato, until Sunday 28 September, is organized in collaboration with the Venice Art House, Segnoperenne and art critic Gaetano Salerno.
ELIO ROSOLINO CASSARA’
A series of large canvases in which Elio Rosolino Cassarà (Mazara del Vallo, 1974, lives and works in Berlin) is pursuing a personal reflection on the landscape and on the vision started during the years of study and research spent in Venice.
A return then, years later, in the city that has strongly influenced the artist's gaze on the beautiful outdoor spaces and points offered by the lagoon, and glimpses of chromatic atmosphere far removed from the usual forms of phenomenal reality and yet still strongly tied to the colors and moods of this artistic reality so poignant.
In forty works that make up the series, stand material and therefore signs severe strokes over which there are, as between the lines and beyond the lines of words in a sequence of existential novel, multiple storylines, multiple testimonies vital, multiple epilogues.
JEFFREY ISAAC
For the New York artist is a welcome return to the headquarters of the lagoon after being presented during the Biennale of Visual Arts in 2009 with the exhibition side MANIFEST Destinies.
His works on display may seem hyper-realistic, but it is not technology alone that is, Jeffrey Isaac calls himself a conceptual artist, his subjects are part of a reality impossible or unlikely, in contrast with the neutral style of painting, photo its hyperrealism.
