Bright colors, strong contrasts and great passion. These are the issues that unite the artists featured in the exhibition The colors in contemporary Latin staged at the Galerie Mirafiori in Turin March 5 to 15. Curated Argentine artist Fernanda Hamberg, the initiative brings in Italy the works of a selection of South American artists and is organized in collaboration with the Association Itinerarte, founded and led by Fabrizio Gavatorta (President) and Papito (Vice-President) .
The exhibition aims to raise awareness of the major artistic trends in Italy, from figurative to abstract, in the more developed countries of Latin America.
Fernanda Hamberg and Fabrizio Gavatorta explain: '' The show combines contemporary painters Latin which were formed through different paths and now recur in their art in various artistic techniques and personal. Everyone here works exhibited significant and representative of their culture.
This exhibition is not only an opportunity to see live contemporary works from the other side of the world, but it is also a way for collectors and art lovers to compare this pictorial form with what they already know a lot well, the Italian.
Common thread between the artists and the works presented are the passion - personal and artistic - that drives them, the strong colors that characterizes the art Latin and, of course, geographical origin ''.
