The Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile of Turin MAUTO will be the exclusive location that will accomodate from Friday, September 5 to Sunday, October 5th the exhibition by Stefano Bressani, an Italian artist and contemporary that has stood out thanks to a vision and a completely innovative way of making art," dressing art. "The exhibition will be curated by Carlotta Canton, artistic director of the Historical Gallery of Contemporary Art in Turin, Davico Art.
Dedicated to the history of the automobile, which is made essentially of creativity, Mauto is unique in Italy: the architectural renovation of 2011 today supplemented by multimedia and interactive content and a section devoted entirely to the design makes it a space in which creativity creativity and innovation coexist and grow. In this context, the museum strengthens its ties with the art world, hosting the exhibition of bunting Stefano Bressani.
The work of this artist, self-taught talent, is the result of continuous research and curiosity. The combination of colors and new perspective plans, interest in the "geometrization" and the fragmentation of images are proposed in his works but is constantly encounter and love for fabrics that will work outlines a very personal and recognizable that takes the name of "Sculptures Dressed." Creator of a technique that makes it unique and highly recognizable his work, Bressani reinterprets reality destrutturandola through the decomposition of the space and then dress her up for a new vision.
Stefano Bressani exhibited in different institutional contexts of the Italian and international scene; currently present in Venice in a Biennale at the Spaceport (former Church of Santa Marta), in which he was invited and chosen as a performer for the international event called The night of wonders, dedicated to Pink Floyd. Among his collaborations related to the automotive world stand the Piaggio Foundation in Pontedera and the exhibition Contemporary Art Meeting 500, where a work dedicated to the myth of the 500 and in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, along the 'entire peninsula.
To highlight a common road that connects artists with the philosophy of the museum, in the interest towards a culture and a story to tell and share with the younger generation and the visitors held - September 14 - a workshop proposed by the artist, with a view to bring in a practical way the youngsters to a world of passion and art. The children, accompanied by the artist, will compete in the production of a work of art, giving vent to their creativity.
This event fits perfectly with the philosophy of Mauto, that in September, just during the exhibition period by Stefano Bressani, will live a great event of re-opening to celebrate the end of the work completed. The work done will highlight even more the teaching vocation, as well as conservative of the museum: an idea of ??culture that is especially participatory and that means sharing the heritage of the past with the new generations of visitors through the tools and technologies that best represent them.
The exhibition, part of the regular guided tour of the museum, will be open to the public in accordance with schedules and methods of Mauto.
