Neochrome is pleased to present the first European solo show of Jack Siegel.
Like a time lapse of an autumn leaf each painting takes on a shade darker as the viewer travels the individual areas of the gallery. The ambiguous impression painted on the white surface, if you look closely, creates an afterimage which confuses the vague sequencing inviting the viewer to project their own vision on the later canvas.
Two prints of a loved one, the right conditions and at the same time conclude the narrative of the show, they take the form the indiscernible shades of four year soaked of secret moments.
