A 50-year career in which art, criticism and politics are closely intertwined

Starting out from the complex relationship between man and nature, the exhibition critically re-examines the society of consumption and new technologies, in an exhibition constructed around themes such as ecology, artistic work as research and social and political commitment.

The exhibition is enhanced by archive documents illustrating the artist’s various works from the planning stage, presenting some of the most significant pieces by Piero Gilardi from the 1960s through to the present.
